Radnor Township Environmental Advisory Council Celebrates Earth Day with the fourth Annual Native Plant Give-Away
Free Plant give-away of wildflowers for your garden
What do I get? A collection of about 10 native perennial wildflowers that support insects and birds. Mix of Rudbeckia fulgida v. deamii, Penstemon calycosus, Echinacea purpurea 'Magnus', and Schizachyrium scoparium 'Sandhill' PPAF.
Can I choose my plants? No, everybody gets the same collection of various plants.
How much space should I have for planting? One sunny square yard should be enough.
When is the pick-up? On May 2, 2026 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
Where is the pick-up? Radnor Township Building, 301 Iven Ave, Wayne, PA – near the circular entrance to the building. Please stay in your car and drive up to the circle. You will get the plants without a need to get out of the car. There is no need to park and walk up to the building.
What do I need to do? Register and reserve your plants.
Who can register? Radnor Township residents.
How much do the plants cost? There is no cost for the plants.
If I cannot pickup my plants, can they be held for pickup later? No. If you are unable pick up your plants, you may send someone else to pick it up. Please email EAC@radnor.org with your name and the name of the substitute pick up person.
Can I submit pictures of my plantings? Yes, please do so to help us keeping track of the engagement of our township gardeners! Send pictures of your plantings to EAC@radnor.org.
